You will be thousand times blessed – National Head Declares.

Apostle Ebenezer Nii Odai Quaye, the National Head of the Church of Pentecost in Germany has declared that members of the Church will be thousand times more blessed in 2019 than they were in 2018.

“If the year 2018 dealt wickedly with you, I pray that all this wickedness shall go away, and if the year was good to you, I pray that may you be thousand times blessed and greater in 2019” he declared.

He made this declaration when he was delivering a sermon at the 31st Watch Night service held at the Hamburg Central on December 31, 2018. Quoting from Deuteronomy 1:6-11, he stated that, God called Abraham and swore to him that he will give him a land that he will see which will be for his descendants. He continued with his narration on Abraham when God revealed himself to him and asked him to bring a sacrifice to him and his sacrifice was devoured by vultures. Adding that Abraham sent away the vultures so that his sacrifice would be accepted by God.

“While Abraham drove them away, there was total darkness that covered Abraham. And God spoke to Abraham of a certainty, your descendants will go into slavery but I will bring them back by my righteous hand” he added.

He emphasized that, the Lord who brought them from their various countries to the Land of Germany is the same yesterday, today and forever, therefore he is watching over his word to perfect it. He elaborated that, when the Children of Israel went into slavery, at the appointed time, God revealed himself to Moses and out of the strength of the hand of the Lord, he delivered the children of Israel from bondage.

Apostle Nii Odai Quaye, demonstrated that, while Moses was leading them to the promise land, the enemy was after them because they wanted to keep them so that they could not go. But Moses lifted up his head to the Lord and the Lord told him to stretch off his rod to the sea and there was a way. So, he told them, the Egyptians you see today, you will see them no more.

He therefore assured the congregation that, the troubles and problems they saw in 2018, they shall see them no more because the Lord will fight for them and they shall hold their peace.

The National Head, explained that, the story of Moses and the Israelite against the Egyptians suggests that, the Lord will deal with those who contend against his Children and fight against those who fight against them.

He therefore advised the congregation to depend solely on God in times of difficulty and not to rely on their own strength or that of their fellow human being, because they can be disappointed, but will forever be faithful to his Children.

The service was attended by the Former Chairman, Apostle Dr. Michael Kwabena Ntumy and Wife, Mrs. Martha Ntumy, Mrs Rosaline Quaye, wife of the National Head, Overseer Eric Effah Owusu and Wife of the PIWC, Hamburg and all officers in the local.
